Stone Floor Cleaning

There comes a time when despite your best efforts your stone floor needs a deep clean and reseal. The beautiful natural colours in Sandstone or any stone floor start to dull over time due to dirt accumulating. Our customers can't believe the difference we can make to their floors, often forgetting just how stunning they once looked. Most natural stone is quite porous so sealing is always recommended to keep your floor looking its best for longer whilst making maintenance for yourself easier. We can offer a range of sealing options depending on your preference.
We have impregnating sealers which absorb into the stone filling the capillaries and sitting just below the surface protecting from both oil and water based staining. There are two options with impregnating sealers. One type will not alter the look of the stone if you like it to look as natural as possible. We also have colour enhancing sealers which as the name suggests enhances the natural colours within the stone.
We also have surface seals, these sit on the surface of the stone and come in matt, satin, or gloss depending on your preferences.

Travertine & Marble Floor Cleaning & Polishing

Polished travertine and marble will both dull down over time. Being a soft stone they can scratch relatively easily. Also with being acid sensitive you may find dull spots from little spills etc, these are what we call etches as the acidity reacts with the calcium in the marble and travertine.
The beauty with marble and travertine is these scratches and etches can be removed and they can be polished up to look brand new again.
This honeing and polishing process is carried out using diamond floor pads and powder polishes.
