Higham lakes are a family run Trout Fishery and country sporting outfitters situated in south Northumberland, Offering excellent trout fishing to the fly and bait angler from one of our three lakes that are regularly stocked with rainbow, brown, blue and golden trout from 2lb to 25lb in weight.

We also offer a range of sporting opportunities to our guests with roe deer stalking on request and duck flighting available on our own ponds to guided pigeon shooting over thousands of acres of agricultural land.All opportunities can offer excellent sport and give our guests the facility to experience different disciplines within our chosen sport.

Fishing Reports

Fishing has been very good this last week to various patterns, daddy's, hoppers and black wets are still working very well.
Cats whiskers and yellow blobs have also taken fish well fished on a fast sinking line.
Richard wood from belsay returned 24 fish over 4 hrs on a yellow blob.
Andrew Robinson from ponteland returned 18 fish to a black buzzer.
Biggest fish out this week was caught by Seaton burn angler Richard harmison a nice 9lb rainbow caught on a foam daddy.
Average size fish has been 3.2lb.

Trout Fishing

Here at Higham lakes we offer quality Trout fishing to both the fly and bait angler ,With three lakes to fish,Two fly only lakes and one bait and fly lake stocked on a regular basis with fish from 2lb to 25lb+.

We cater for both the experienced and the novice angler and can offer tuition for those wishing to take up Angling.

we can also cater for corporate parties,competitions and clubs.

Salmon/Sea Trout

One and a half miles of private single bank fishing located upstream of warkworth.

There are seven named pools on the beat offering superb fly, spinning and bait fishing for Salmon and Sea Trout.
