The company was set up 27 years ago in South Shields but as we were growing we decided to expand and opened our Gateshead office 15 years ago. Now we cover the whole of the North East and regularly relocate homes, offices, doctors and students all over the United Kingdom. We move anyone - no matter the circumstances - doctors, students, professionals, unemployed and even the odd footballer or celebrity have used our services.

We always take care of your goods with the utmost respect, our motto is that "we won't let you down", no matter what - rain, hail, snow, winds. We operate in all elements this country has to offer. All our men work full time in the furniture removal business and do so 6 days a week, but are also willing to work on Sundays when necessary so whenever you need moving, we will do our best to accommodate your needs even through the night if required. We can get whatever you need moved anywhere in mainland UK the same day.

We also do a lot of work for estate agents such as Moody & Co, Colin Lilley, Keith Patterson, Kiss Lettings, Marshall Gray, Andrew Craig, Bairstow Eves and Sarah Mains to name but a few. Over the years we have built up a good reputation for ourselves. We can offer our customers containerised storage facilities which is safe and secure where you keep the key for accessibility at your convenience and can be used when your move is not as straight forward as from house to house, and can be useful for any number of reasons.

Services

S&S removals are a professional household and office remover. We have been established for 27 years and are a friendly family run company, with our main offices in South Shields and Gateshead. We are fully insured and treat all goods the same with the utmost care and attention as if they were our own goods and we guarantee that we will not let you down. We will always turn up at the time we have agreed. We provide all enquiries with the best possible free estimate and since we have been moving in the North East for so long, we can give a very competitive quote. This can be done over the phone or in person by myself at your property whichever suits you the best.

We have fully uniformed staff that are willing to help out our customers in any way possible to make their move go as smoothly as possible, as we know this is a very stressful time. We can provide all our customers with the best honest free advice that we can give, i.e. that they may need packing boxes, storage facilities and naturally everything is kept private and confidential between us and the customer.

We specialise in household, office, piano, doctor/student relocation within the UK. There is no removal too big or small as we will move anything from a single item to the complete contents of a household. We have 7 vehicles ranging in size from small to large and tail lift vans can be specified on request. All vehicles come with a minimum of 2 men. The vehicles we use are all modern and maintained to a very high standard and come with all protective coverings and all goods are firmly secured when in transit. All vehicles also come with satellite navigation so no matter where you are we can find you as quickly as possible.
