About Us...

In 1899 Mr. Frederick B. Hindmarsh opened an Estate Agents office in Newcastle upon Tyne followed by a second office in Gateshead.

In 1923 an office in Whitley Bay was opened with Mr. Harold D. Jefferson, a Chartered Auctioneer and Estate Agent. Originally based on Station Road, they moved to Park View in 1933 and we are still here today.

Harold Jefferson was followed by his son Eric Jefferson, and now his grandson Ian Jefferson leads the firm. The Jefferson family now have over 150 years experience in the property profession!

Here at Hindmarsh & Partners, we provide a wide range of property services (including Chartered Surveying and all aspects of Estate Agency (Sales and Lettings)). We are able to do this becaue we have a family-based team, with many years of experience (both individually and collectively) in all of these areas.

Hindmarsh & Partners have been looking after the property needs of local people in and around Whitley Bay since the firm was founded in 1899. The current partners are the third generation of the Jefferson family who originally opened the Whitley Bay office and are well qualified to help with your buying, selling or renting needs.

Lettings
We have a list of registered tenants who are all looking for properties to rent in Whitley Bay & North Shields on the North-East coast, and also in Newcastle upon Tyne. As a result, we're looking for all types of properties.
